So the bank holiday weekend has come and gone and many festival goers are suffering from post festival blues. Forbidden Fruit yet again proved to be a big success even though there was much criticism of the line up. Irish acts opened the day on the Bulmers Stage which featured exclusively Irish bands for the day which is a nice touh by the festival organisers.
The music kicked off early on Friday even though most people were still in work but it proved to get a good atmosphere going nice and early for the people that took the day off. The weather thankfully held off on the Saturday so festival goers were treated to decent although not amazing weather but considering what was forecast for the day in potential down pours no one was complaining.
Saturday night headliners Orbital drew the first day to a close and the first day was complete as the festival goers made their way back into the city to continue the partying. Sunday and Monday were not so fortunate. On Monday for the first time the festival was open with a more chilled vibe for people who wanted to bring them selves back down to reality without going too hard having work on the next day but this was troubled by torrential rain for the day which led to a lot of people choosing to recover on the couch instead.
